Facts and practical information
The Hague lighthouse, or Goury lighthouse, stands 800 meters off the coast of the Hague Cape, on the rock known as "le Gros du Raz".
It marks the Raz Blanchard, one of the strongest tidal currents in Europe, between the Cape of the Hague and the Channel Island of Alderney, as well as the northern entrance to the Déroute Passage leading to the east coast of the Island of Jersey.
