Facts and practical information
The castle of Lanniron, was the former summer residence of the bishops of Cornouaille. It is located on the territory of the town of Quimper in Finistère, in Brittany. It is the subject of a registration as a historical monument since May 6, 1988 and since December 23, 1992.
A prisoner of war camp was set up there from 1940 to 1946 and was called "Frontstalag 135" until 1944.
