The castle of Arthel, is a castle of the XVI th century entirely reworked in the XVIII th century built on an old castle-fort, located in the village of Arthel, near the church, on a rocky promontory. In the department of Nièvre, district of Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire, canton of Prémery. On the RD 140. Private property, visit by appointment. It is often wrongly called Château d'Apremont because one of its owners also owned this castle.
