Colline de la Revanche, Élancourt

The hill of Elancourt, or colline de la Revanche, is located in Elancourt in the French department of Yvelines. Rising to 231 meters above sea level, it is the highest point of the entire Ile-de-France region.
The Eiffel Tower, the Montparnasse Tower, the Defense, the pond of Saint-Quentin and the forest of Meudon are visible from the top of the hill. It is entirely artificial, made of waste and embankments. It is now a park dedicated to walking, leisure and extreme sports, its slopes being used for the practice of many sports. The site has been selected to host the mountain bike events during the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
