The Abbey of Arthous is an ancient monastery founded around 1167 by the order of Premonstratensian canons. It is located in a place called Arthous, in the commune of Hastingues, on the borders of the Orthe region, in the French department of Landes.
The church was classified as a historical monument on September 24, 1955, and the conventual buildings on September 24, 1969. They include as remarkable elements the chevet and the apsidioles, decorated with capitals and sculpted modillions and an interesting set of conventual buildings of the modern period.
