Château de Savenès

The castle of Savenès is an old fortified castle of the XIIIth century, which stands on the commune of Savenès in the department of Tarn-et-Garonne, in the Midi-Pyrénées region, and which was the center of a seigniory.
The facades and roofs, the moat, the porch and the bridge that precedes it were listed by decree on February 1, 1988; the two rooms on the second floor of the west wing with their 17th-century painted ceilings, the dining room with its 19th-century panoramic wallpaper evoking the story of Telemachus were listed by decree on January 24, 1992
