The Fort de l'Eminence is a French military structure located on the island of Port-Cros. It is the largest fort of Port-Cros and it is on it that the defense of the island rests in the XIX th century. It was built in the 18th century to replace a fort destroyed in 1793. It is located at an altitude of 140 m and is 25 minutes from the village.
