Place des Quatre-Dauphins is a square in Aix-en-Provence, located in the heart of the Mazarin district, at the intersection of rue Cardinale coming from the church of Saint-Jean-de-Malte and rue du Quatre-Septembre, leading to Cours Mirabeau.
It is surrounded by private mansions, including, at the northeast corner, the Hôtel de Boisgelin, built in 1655 by Pierre Pavillon. In the center of the square is the Four Dolphins Fountain, in baroque style, sculpted in 1667 by Jean-Claude Rambot. The metallic ornamentation of the fountain dates from 1912. The fountain is listed as a historical monument since January 15, 1929.
