Griboedov's Russian Drama Theater, founded in Tbilisi in 1932. The first performance was represented by Maxim Gorky, staged by Konstantine Marjanishvili. In 1935 the theater was named after Alexander Griboedov. The repertoire of the theater is contemporary and classical works of Russian and overseas. An important place is the works of Georgian authors, which are noteworthy at various times. From Dadiani's "Spark", I. Wakel's "Great Mouravi" and more.
