Ziros Lake

Lake Zirou is located 2 km west of the old Arta - Ioannina Highway opposite the Pantanassa Arta community. Administratively and geographically it belongs to three municipalities: Philippiada, Thesprotiko and Xirovouni. As of January 1, 2011, under the Law Kallikratis Lake Zirou is completely in the new Municipality of Ziros, with the capital of Philippiada, except for a forest access section from Arta-Ioannina Street belonging to the Pantanassa Land Registry of the Municipality of Arta.
