Old Fortress, Corfu Town

Standing proudly at the edge of Corfu Town, the Old Fortress is a testament to the island's rich history and strategic importance in the Mediterranean. This imposing structure, dating back to the Byzantine period, has been a guardian of the city for centuries, with its current form largely shaped by Venetian rule between the 15th and 18th centuries.

The Old Fortress, also known as Paleo Frourio, is not just a monument but an experience.
