Barcza Palace and Arboretum of Pusztazámor

Barcza Castle is located in Pusztazámor, Pest county.

The original castle was built in the 18th century and was significantly remodelled by the Barcza family in the 19th century, when it took its present form. The castle included a beautiful park of more than three hectares, which is now a protected area with hundreds of years old trees. After the Second World War, the castle deteriorated considerably, it was used as a school and kindergarten, and was later privately restored according to the original plans.
