University of Iceland
The University of Iceland is a public research university in Reykjavík, Iceland and the country's oldest and largest institution of higher education.
Reykjavík University
Reykjavík University, is the largest private university in Iceland with more than 3,500 students. It is chartered by the Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Icelandic Industries, and the Confederation of Icelandic Employers. It should not be confused with the University of Iceland which is also located in Reykjavík.
Iceland University of the Arts
Iceland University of the Arts is an Icelandic institution of higher art education, located in Reykjavík, which offers the only university-level degrees in the arts in Iceland.
Iceland College of Education
Iceland College of Education was a normal college in Iceland. It merged with the University of Iceland in July 2008 and is now called the School of Education. Enrollment was around 2300 students with more than half of them being distance learning students. The university offered B.A. Bf B Ed. and B.S degree programmes as well as M.Ed.
