Klambratún is an outdoor area in Hlíðahverfi Reykjavík. The area is pretty much square and about 10 hectares in size. It is bounded by Rauðarárstíg in the west, Flókagata in the north, Långuhlíð in the east and Miklubraut in the south. In the northern part of Klambratún, Kjarvalsstaðir, an art museum is dedicated to the art of John Sveinsson Kjarval.
Part of the meadow belonged to the town of Klömbrum that lasted until the mid -20th century. The City of Reykjavik acquired Klömbr in 1946. Two years later, there was a school park for Reykvík young people. In the 1960s, Klambratún was transformed into a garden and was named Miklatún following a name competition.
