Saadabad Palace, Tehran

Nestled in the foothills of the Alborz mountains, the Saadabad Palace complex stands as a testament to the opulence of Iran's royal history. The complex includes more than 18 buildings, among which the White Palace and the Green Palace are the most notable. The Green Palace, named after the color of its façade, features a mix of traditional Persian and modern 20th-century architecture. It was the private residence of Reza Shah and is known for its beautifully decorated interior, including its mirror hall.

Each building within the complex has been repurposed into a museum, dedicated to various aspects of Iran's rich cultural heritage and history. Visitors can explore museums dedicated to fine arts, royal costumes, weapons, and even an exclusive collection of royal automobiles.
