In the heart of Iran's Yazd Province stands Sarv-e Abarkuh, an ancient cypress tree that has captivated visitors for centuries with its majestic presence and remarkable history. Estimated to be between 4,000 to 5,000 years old, this natural monument is often referred to as the Zoroastrian Sarv and is believed to be one of the oldest living organisms on Earth.
Sarv-e Abarkuh's impressive longevity and resilience have made it a symbol of endurance and a witness to the passage of time. With a height of about 25 meters and a trunk circumference of 11.5 meters, the tree's grandeur is evident.
