Islamic Azad University of Kermanshah Branch is one of the comprehensive units of Islamic Azad University founded in Kermanshah. This unit is the largest Azad University unit in the western region of Iran. The academic unit, the Colleges of Literature and Humanities, Graduate Education, Physical Education, Agriculture, Political Science and Law, Basic Sciences, Technical Faculty and Faculty of Medical Sciences.

The university has undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees. The unit has also been recognized as an international university since the beginning of the admission of a foreign student, which has been allowed to accept students from other countries.

In the years 1 and 2, the Kermanshah Free Medical School, in collaboration with the International Campus of Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences, has received scholarship and financial scholarships for elite students in medical and pharmacy.
