Chastellet - Templar Castle in Galilee, at the beard of Jakub, located on the Jordan River about 12 kilometers north of the Tiberia Lake. It was built in 1178 to guard the crossing of Jordan. In June 1179, the castle replied the siege of Saladin, but the defenders were helpless in the face of the re -attack in August and the castle fell into the hands of the Saracens.
