The church of the Holy Trinity - a historic stone Orthodox church in Mariampol. Parish temple. It belongs to the deanery of the Kaunas of the Vilnius Eparchy and the Lithuanian Russian Orthodox Church.
The temple is located near the center of Mariampole, at the city cemetery, at P. Armino 38a Street.
The church was built in 1894, dedicated in 1901. Thoroughly renovated in 1949. By decision of the Soviet authorities closed in 1959; Since then, the temple building has been used as a cemetery utility room. Later, the church was intended for demolition, but these plans were not implemented.
The temple was recovered by the Orthodox in 1992. The building was completely restored; The last works were completed in 2008. On March 26, 2006, the first service was celebrated in the church since its closure. The temple was consecrated again on September 18, 2011 by the Archbishop of Vilnius and Lithuanian Innocent.
Church services take place once a month.
The church was entered in the register of monuments on May 27, 2011.
