Foot and bicycle bridge, Alytus

White Rose Bridge - 2013-2015 A pedestrian and cycling bridge was built in Alytus through the Nemunas, connecting the first resort of Alytus and the Old Town with Alytus mound, which is located on the opposite side of the river. The new bridge combines two important recreational areas, is convenient for pedestrians and cyclists who want to visit objects on the other side of the Nemunas. Until now, they had to travel through the bridges of Antanas Juozapavičius or Kaniūkai.

At the beginning of the bridge, from the side of the Song Valley, a renovated 21 -m high sculpture "Ring" was built. The highest pedestrian and cycling bridge in Lithuania is 38.10 m high from average water level, 240.53 m long, 6.71 m wide. The structure consists of metal structures, its two supports stand on the shores and two in the water. The maximum spacing distance is 92 m. Only the Lyduvėnai Bridge is taller, but it is forbidden and for train traffic.
