The church of the Ascension - the Orthodox church in Uciana, arranged in a building previously acting as a parish house at the non -existent church of St. Sergius of Radoneż.

The church building is a two -story object that performs residential and administrative functions in the past. In 1947, this building was nationalized by the Stalinist authorities. Military Conscript Commission. At the request of the Orthodox community, deprived of its own church since 1941, the object was transferred to it for the purposes of worship in 1989. The arrangement of a room adapted to the requirements of the Orthodox liturgy lasted several years. To emphasize the new function of the object, a small onion dome was added in the central place of its roof. The single -row iconostasis was transferred to the cut in 1999 from the unused church of St. Nicholas in the use of the necessary maintenance. Historic banners were moved from the church in Michnów. In addition, the church is equipped with several additional icons in decorative kiots.
