Frilled tree frog

The frilled tree frog, also known as the rough-armed tree frog or Southeast Asian tree frog, is a captivating member of the Rhacophoridae family. This species can be found in several countries across Southeast Asia, including Brunei, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.

These frogs thrive in subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, swamps, shrublands, rivers, and marshes. Unfortunately, they are facing significant threats due to habitat loss.

In terms of size, male frilled tree frogs are typically about 30-37 mm (1.2-1.5 inches) long, whereas the females are slightly larger, measuring approximately 45-50 mm (1.8-2.0 inches).
