Cristo Rey

Cristo Rey, located at the top of the Cerro del Cubilete in Guanajuato, Mexico, is a monumental statue of Jesus Christ that holds significant cultural and religious importance. This towering edifice stands as a testament to faith and a memorial to the Cristero War martyrs who fought for religious freedom during the 1920s.

The statue, which reaches a height of 20 meters and sits on a globe held by a pedestal, symbolizes the universality of Christianity.
