The Monumento al Pípila is a monument in honor of El Pípila, it is located in the City of Guanajuato, Guanajuato, it was created by the sculptor Juan Fernando Olaguíbel, based on pink quarry stone and was inaugurated in September 1939. The site where the monument is located gives a panoramic view of the city of Guanajuato, which is why it is a traditionally tourist site.
