When Is the Best Time To Visit Nauru?
The answer to the question of what is the best month to visit Nauru depends on what you are interested in doing during your stay. Here you can see an overview of each month and its typical weather conditions.
Climate of Nauru
Nauru lies in an equatorial monsoon climate zone characterized by high temperatures and humidity up to 80%. During the day, thermometers reach 26°C - 35°C, while at night the temperature does not drop below 20°C. The water temperature remains high all year round, at 28°C. Rainfall varies widely (about 2,000 mm) and can occur in all months.
As a result of the monsoon circulation, rainfall intensifies during the rainy season, from November to February. These take the form of short-lived but intense downpours occurring on hot and sunny days. Thunderstorms and increased cloud cover are also common.
During the dry season, from March to October, one can count on most sunny and cloudless days, and precipitation is sporadic.
