De Volmolen is a middle-stage water mill in the hamlet of Plaat south of the village of Epen, municipality of Gulpen-Wittem, and is located on a tributary of the Geul River that branches off from the left bank about 220 m upstream. Near the mill, the Terzieterbeek flows into the Geul. Further downstream is the Eper Mill.
The building is a national monument.
