De Hoop is a corn mill in Hellendoorn in the Dutch province of Overijssel.
The mill was built in 1854. The mill continued to operate on wind power until 1937, after which it continued to be milled with an electric motor in an adjacent mill. The mill served only as storage space. The mill became the property of the Hellendoorn municipality in 1973 and in 1978 the restoration of the mill was completed. Since 1985, the mill has been used by a professional miller again.
The mill is currently equipped with two pairs of grinding stones, one of which is driven by wind power, the other by motor power. In addition, the mill possesses various other implements for milling. The mill's rods are 22.50 meters long and are equipped with the Old Dutch fencing with sails.
