Facts and practical information

The Korenbloem is a corn mill in Zonnemaire in the municipality of Schouwen-Duiveland. The mill was built in 1873 as a replacement for the wooden grondzeiler that burned down the year before. The mill was in operation until 1961, after which years of decay followed. After a storm in 1990 blew most of the cap off the mill, De Korenbloem was bought by the then municipality of Brouwershaven, which had the mill restored.
