Museum de Zwarte Tulp is a museum in the center of the town of Lisse, in the Dutch province of South Holland. The museum focuses on the history of the Bollenstreek.
The museum uses an interactive exhibition to tell 500 years of the history of the Bulb Region, and how the bulb cultivation work in the fields was done 100 years ago. It also explains the science behind the development of new tulip varieties. In addition, the museum shows how artists have been inspired time and again by the beauty of flowers through print collections, an art collection of paintings, glass, porcelain, silver and contemporary art, among others.
