The Eydehavn Museum is an industrial and working museum at Eydehavn in Arendal municipality.
The museum's main exhibition contains many themes related to the industrial site and society here. The two cornerstone companies AS Arendal Smelter and Det Norske Nitridaktieselskap have a central place. The museum also has a working apartment decorated in the 1920s style. The exhibition "Maren's Memories" shows everyday life and celebration of holidays on the farm Helle at the Neskilen from the time around 1900. History is told through texts, pictures and objects. The museum has an outdoor exhibition located in the streets of Eydehavn. It is based on street names with personal names. Within three km you get an insight into the history of Eydehavn through these people.
The museum opened in 1982, and has premises and exhibitions in one of the old brick yards in Nesbyen from the first time of the industrial site. 12 working homes were built by Det Norske Nitridaktieselskap between 1913 and 1916, and each contained two or four apartments.
The museum's collections include objects, pictures and archive material related to the companies and the community at Eydehavn. In addition, there is an exhibition of the visual artist Else Hagen who was raised in Eydehavn.
