The second theater is a theater located in Ivan Bjørndals gate 9, between Sagene and Torshov in Oslo. The theater was opened in the fall of 2011 by improvisers from theater somehow, who then lived in premises at Chateau Neuf in Oslo. Those who started the theater were Nils Petter Mørland, Mats Eldøen, Tony Totino, Veslemøy Mørkrid, and more. The independent Improgruppen Improtent has also been central to the operation of DAT.
The second theater has improvisation theater as the main focus, and was initially conducted exclusively on a voluntary basis, but over the years has received support for its artistic activities from various state and municipal support schemes.
Famous people who have been linked to the theater include Harald Eia, Mats Eldøen, Helén Vikstvedt, Thorbjørn Harr and Nils Petter Mørland.
The building where the theater is located was previously part of Lilleborg Fabrikker.
