Marek Grechuta's bench in Opole - the sculpture was unveiled on 22 October 2008 at Kopernik Square, next to Collegium Maius of Opole University, on University Hill.
The author of the sculpture is Wit Pichurski. The cast was made by Wiktor Chalupczok.
The initiator of the realization of the bench-monument was a historian professor Stanislaw Slawomir Nicieja. The monument represents the artist sitting on a bench. On the backrest of the bench there are leaves of wild wine, reminding the title of one of Grechuta's songs "W dzikie wino zaplątani".
