The Robert Koch Museum in Wolsztyn is one of three branches of the Wolsztyn Regional Museum, which has existed since 1976. It was established in 1996 on the first floor of a building built in 1842-46, which originally served as a hospital for the poor. In the years 1872-1880, the German physician and Nobel Prize winner Robert Koch lived and worked here. The museum exhibit includes memorabilia related to this great scientist, such as antique furniture and documents related to his work. The Robert Koch Foundation and Scientific Association also operate here to promote scientific achievements in the fields of microbiology, pharmacology and pulmonology.
