The "Grandfather" oak is a pedunculate oak growing in Wrocław at Kopernika Street, on the edge of Szczytnicki Park. Trunk circumference is 629 cm, it is one of the oldest trees in the city, its age is estimated at 440 years. On February 16, 1953, the oak named "Grandfather" was declared a natural monument by the decision of the Provincial National Council. Due to severe damage to the trunk, the tree was secured by reinforcing the branches with steel braces.
