Silesian Insurgents Monument in Katowice-Nikiszowiec - a monument commemorating the Silesian insurgents, located in a square on Zamkowa Street in Katowice, within the Janów-Nikiszowiec auxiliary unit.
The monument commemorating the heroes of the Silesian Uprisings stands in a different place than the pre-war one, which was built in 1922 opposite the Janów municipality office, near the school playground. The monument was destroyed by the Nazis in September 1939. After World War II the new obelisk was located on the square in Zamkowa Street.
The obelisk's pedestal is engraved with an eagle and inscriptions, in front: From behind: In 2012, the square where the monument stands was named the Yanov Group Artists' Square.
