Jan Czekanowski monument in Szczecin - a contemporary monument made by Yossouf Toure for Szczecin. Commemorates Jan Czekanowski - Polish anthropologist and ethnographer, distinguished in the study of Africa, who in the last period of his life lived in Szczecin, where he died. The monument was designed in a type of a monument-flume, in a form of a traveling trunk with a figure of the traveler sitting on it.
The monument was placed in one of the alleys in General Anders Park in the center of Szczecin.
