Tricity, or Tri-City is a metropolitan area in Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland, consisting of three cities: Gdańsk, Gdynia, and Sopot, as well as minor towns in their vicinity. They are situated adjacent to one another, in a row on the coast of Gdańsk Bay, Baltic Sea, in Pomerelia. In 2021, the three main cities of Tricity were inhabitated by 749 786 people, while the its metropolitan area had a population of between 1 to 1.5 million people, depending on the definition of its boundries.
