Monument to the Victims of the Katyn Massacre in Wrocław - monument commemorating the victims of the Katyn massacre. Designed by Tadeusz Tchórzewski. Built between 1994-2000.
The ceremony of unveiling the monument took place on September 22, 2000. The unveiling was performed by Andrzej Przewoźnik.
The monument is situated on the plan of a cross, on the area of 380 m2. It has the form of four granite slabs and two bronze figures: the Angel of Death and the Pieta of Katyn - Mother of Fatherland holding a murdered prisoner in her arms. The names of the places of the crime are engraved on the left side of the pedestal, while the names of the prisoner-of-war camps are engraved on the right side.
A plaque with an inscription in Polish was placed on the monument:
