Cmentarz Brochowski, Wrocław
Facts and practical information
Brochowski Cemetery - a Catholic cemetery located on Brochowska Street in Wroclaw.
The first information about the cemetery comes from 1914, probably it was established a bit earlier. From the beginning it was administered by Evangelical parish and served the inhabitants of Brochow, which was then a small town near Wroclaw. After 1945 the Catholic parish of St. George the Martyr took care of the cemetery. The cemetery consists of a dozen or so rectangular plots arranged regularly within a rectangular burial field. Two main alleys running from east to west are planted with trees - the northern one with lime trees and the southern one with chestnut trees. Single German graves as well as a memorial stone commemorating the soldiers from Brochów who died during World War I have been preserved on the cemetery.
