Facts and practical information
Bukowa Góra - the highest peak in the Klonowskie Range in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains. It consists of two peaks, 484 and 465 m. It is built of Devonian sandstones. Overgrown with fir and beech forest. Under the peak, on the northern side there is a band of sandstone rocks about 5 meters high and 6 meters wide. On the western slope there is a quarry. On the ridge there is a chapel probably erected on the grave of a Napoleon soldier and a partisan grave from 1943.
The green hiking trail from Starachowice to Łączna goes through the mountain. Bukowa Góra is the starting point of the yellow hiking trail leading to Barcza.
