Słone Łąki Nature Reserve - a saltwort nature reserve on the Kashubian Coast within the Nadmorski Landscape Park, located in Władysławowo on the Puck Bay, at the base of the Hel Spit. Established in 1999. Its establishment was postulated already in 1928. The area of the reserve is 27.76 ha, while the area of its buffer zone - 16.02 ha.
The reserve protects the species of saltmarsh vegetation occurring in the floodplain of Puck Bay between Władysławowo and Swarzewo. The most valuable flora species occurring in the reserve are: brine shrub, coastal centuria, flattened thistle, red thistle and seaside plantain.
Many species of water birds can be found in the reserve and the adjacent Puck Bay, such as gulls, coots, mute swans and various species of ducks. Occasionally, there are also waders such as dabchick, common snipe, common teal and geese.
The source of salinity here is the brackish waters of the Bay of Puck. The coast was created as a result of storm surges of the waters of the Bay of Puck.
The owners of the land within the boundaries of the site have formed a Social Committee for the Defense of Property Rights of the "Salt Meadows" Nature Reserve, which seeks the complete liquidation of the reserve, or at least a serious reduction in its area.
