Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Gryfice - a parish church, one of the religious buildings in the city, built between the turn of the XIII/XIV and the end of the XV century.
It is a Gothic sacred building on a polygonal plan with cross-ribbed and stellar vaulting, which over the centuries was rebuilt, expanded and rebuilt. In addition to the chancel, nave hall and tower, it had two chapels of the Virgin Mary and St. Mary's. The church was consecrated in 1498. The sacral building has an area of 1108 m² and a volume of 15905 m³. The external facades feature metope friezes, mascarons, cross and lily embellished buttresses, and masquerades, which are among the rarities of sacral architectural ornamentation in Western Pomerania. The church has historic furnishings, which include: a Romanesque baptismal font from the thirteenth century, a Gothic triptych from the late fifteenth century, a Baroque high altar, and eighteenth-century: pulpit, organ prospectus, stalls, numerous tombstones and epitaphs.
