Facts and practical information

St. Mikojała Church in Grzegorzew - a Roman Catholic parish church in the village of Grzegorzew. It belongs to the Kolsk deanery. It is located at the Church Square.

The present church was built on the site of the previous one in 1777, and was expanded between 1885 and 1888 by adding a tower. A thorough renovation was carried out in 1963-1966 and in 1971. It is the largest wooden church in the Kolska region. The church itself is a wooden structure, with a log structure, boarded and shingled from the outside. The church is equipped with five Baroque altars, a Rococo confessional and Baroque sculptures. Door fittings were made in the eighteenth century, and the late Gothic baptismal font in the form of a chalice with rich reliefs comes from the early sixteenth century. In the fence of the church there is a chapel with a folk sculpture of St. Benno.
