Facts and practical information
Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Hłomcha - a wooden parish Greek Catholic church, located in Hłomcha.
It was built in 1859, renovated in 1910.
At the same time a brick bell tower was built next to the church, in which three bells are hung, including one from 1668.
The parish belonged to Greek Catholic decanate of Birchan, after World War I to decanate of Sanok. In 1934 it was incorporated into Apostolic Lemkivshchyna Administration. The parish also included branch churches in Lodzin and Mrzygłód.
After the war an Orthodox parish was established here, in 1990 a Greek Catholic parish was restored belonging to the Przemyśl deanery.
The temple was included in the Wooden Architecture Route of Podkarpacie region.
