Facts and practical information

St. John the Baptist Church - a church in Czerniejewo built in 1498 in Gothic style. During the reconstruction in XVIII century a tower was added. The church lost its gothic character almost completely then. In 1904 two side chapels and a sacristy were added and in 1920 - a side nave. Currently the church is unstylish.

The historic equipment of the temple includes: the door to the sacristy from 1594 covered with iron sheeting, the main altar from the eighteenth century, two crucifixes from the turn of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, a censer from the seventeenth century and a monstrance from the eighteenth century and a statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus from the nineteenth century.
