Vauxhall - the oldest and one of the most valuable monuments in Krzeszowice, built in 1783-1786 according to the design of court architect Szczepan Humbert by order of Duchess Izabela Lubomirska as a spa house with playrooms.
The storied palace was originally called Foksal, then Vauxhall. The building was accessible to any bather regardless of condition or origin. Many times guests from Krakow came here on Sundays and holidays to entertain themselves. Around the middle of the 19th century the rooms on the first floor were turned into stores, the first floor was unused. At the end of the nineteenth century the building was adapted for the administration of the Potocki estate, at which time the rich interior was destroyed. Until the nineties of the twentieth century the building housed a branch of the elementary school, and until 2005 - the County Labour Office. At present it houses an exhibition gallery and the Cultural and Sports Centre in Krzeszowice.
Vauxhall Palace was entered in the register of immovable monuments of the Provincial Office for the Protection of Monuments in Krakow.
