Błatnia
Facts and practical information
Błatnia - a mountain peak in the Klimczok group in the Vistula Range of the Silesian Beskids.
This unexplored uplift of the ridge, rising above the Wapienica Valley, less than 4 km west of Klimczok, is a keystone for the Czuple - Łazek - Zebrzydka arm running westward and for the Przykreła, Wielka Polana and Palenica ridge branching northward. The top, the ridges in its area and the southern slopes descending towards the Chrobaczy Potok valley in Brenna are covered with a series of clearings, which until World War II were a traditional center of pastoral economy. Most of the slopes are covered by mixed or beech forests.
