Rezerwat Jeziorko Daisy
Facts and practical information
Jeziorko Daisy Nature Reserve - a geological and forest reserve of inanimate nature, established in 1998, part of the Ksiazanski Landscape Park. It lies on the Wałbrzyskie Foothills, in the area of the geological unit called the Świebodzice Depression. The area of the reserve is 7.11 ha.
There are 180 plant species in the reserve, of which 172 are higher species, while the remaining 8 are bryophytes. So far, the fauna of the reserve has not been worked out in detail. Only the plankton of Green Lake has been studied, in which 16 species of crustaceans were found.
The main tourist attraction is Lake Green commonly known as Lake Daisy, a flooded quarry pit created in 1870 after mining Devonian reef limestone.
