Museum of Zbąszyń Land and Goat Region in Zbąszyń - a museum based in Zbąszyń. The museum is a municipal organisational unit operating within the structures of the Zbąszyń Cultural Centre.
The history of museology in Zbąszyń dates back to 1938, when the Museum of Zbąszyń Land was opened in Przyprostynia, presenting historical memorabilia and ethnographic collections. It operated until the outbreak of World War II.
In the 1960s, the Regional Museum of the Land of Zbąszyń was opened on the initiative of PTTK. It was located in the gate tower of the Zbąszyń castle. It operated until the Society branch was dissolved in 1990. The gathered collections were given to the Zbąszyński Cultural Centre. The exhibits were presented in 2000-2002 as part of temporary exhibitions, and in 2004 they were transferred to the newly established Museum of Zbąszyńska Land and Region of Kozło. The museum is housed in the building of the former Primary School No. 2, located on the local market square.
Currently, the museum houses the following permanent exhibitions: historical and archaeological, presenting the history of Zbąszyń since prehistory to the 20th century. The exhibits include a 19th-century bicycle and reproductions of pre-war postcards showing views of the town, and an ethnographic exhibition on the folk culture of the region. The exhibition includes goats - folk, wind instruments from which the Goat Region takes its name.
