The present neo-Gothic brick church was erected in 1866-1872 from the foundation of the Rembielinskis and the parishioners, according to the project of Franciszek Tournelle. The building was consecrated on October 6, 1878 by Bishop of Kujawy and Kalisz Wincenty Teofil Popiel.
The church was built on a Latin cross plan as a building consisting of one nave. Two two-story sacristies are located near the presbytery. The front elevation features a tall tower with a clock in a profiled frame. Stained glass windows are located in the windows of the church.
